GLOOP Staking
Staking allows you to deposit your GLOOP tokens to earn Points Program boosts and other rewards. By staking, you help support the protocol and unlock additional, passive opportunities. You will also be able to participate in protocol governance once that is implemented.
How It Works
Once you deposit your GLOOP tokens into the staking pool, you can earn:
Point Program boosts
Future airdrops
Additional rewards
Early access to new products
You can stake without locking your tokens (unstake at any time), or you can choose to lock your stake for longer periods (14, 28, or 56 days) to receive boosted points in the Points Program. Both unlocked and locked stakes are eligible to receive airdrops and other rewards. Only locked stakes get early access to new products.
If you have earned any rewards, you can claim your rewards anytime, without unstaking.
When your lock ends, you can unstake your GLOOP.
User Operations
1. Stake
Deposit GLOOP tokens into the staking pool.
Choose your lock period on the Staking Page (refer to the Points Program for boost percentages and calculations):
0 days → flexible staking, default boost
14 days → small boost
28 days → medium boost
56 days → large boost
Locking means you cannot unstake until your chosen period ends.
If you want to stake in multiple lock periods at the same time, you will need to use additional wallet addresses for additional periods.
2. Claim Rewards (Coming Soon)
Collect any accumulated rewards at any time.
Claiming does not affect your staked balance or lock period.
Rewards are sent directly to your connected wallet.
3. Unstake
If you have staked without locking, you may unstake/withdraw at any time and immediately receive your previously staked tokens.
Once your lock period has ended, you can withdraw part or all of your staked GLOOP and immediately receive your previously staked tokens.
Unstaking does not automatically claim your rewards. Once claiming is live, be sure to claim rewards separately from unstaking.
Staking Example
You stake 1,000 GLOOP and select a 28-day lock.
You begin earning a GLOOP Points boost over the entire lock duration. Please see the Points Calculations section for details.
Once rewards are live, you can claim rewards directly into your wallet at any time.
Your original 1,000 GLOOP remains staked.
After 28 days, your lock ends, and you may unstake at any time to withdraw your GLOOP tokens.
